I agree with you.. there are not enough fics about them.. and about exploring their relationship! I think that it's one of the main reasons I got inspiration to write something of my own :)
if you're interested I wrote other two things about them, a one-shot and the prologue of the story I'm currently writing; you can read it in my lj.
